We can sometimes accommodate appointments on the evening or weekend.  Please feel free to contact us about this, and we will do our best to accommodate you. Additional fees will apply for any evening or weekend appointment.

Yes!  We have notaries and commissioners on staff.

 In Ontario, commissioners can take an affidavit or declaration by asking you to swear that what is in a document is true, and are governed by the Commissioners for Taking Affidavits Act.  Notaries have all the same powers as commissioners, plus some additional ones, such as verify signatures and that copies of documents are true and genuine. They are governed by the Notaries Act.

 For some purposes, a commissioner may be sufficient, but for others a notary is required.  We can't advise you as to which is required.

Only commissioning can be done remotely online.  If you require a commissioner only, we can provide this service online.  Please notify us if you prefer an online appointment.

The Ontario Notaries Act does not allow for online notarizations. If you require a document to be notarized, this must be done in person. If someone else in Ontario notarizes a document for you remotely, that document is considered to be improperly notarized and the notary may be acting beyond their authority.

We are a notarial service only, and cannot advise you about content or anything else related to your documents.  If you require legal advice or representation, we may be able to provide you with an appropriate referral.
